Description de poste
At Torus, we're building the world's first mesh energy infrastructure, systems that protect communities, reduce costs, and strengthen the grid for decades to come. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you'll contribute to the design, validation, and building of the sub-systems that make resilient, scalable energy storage possible.
This internship sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and systems thinking. You'll learn how mechanical engineering decisions ripple across the full product lifecycle-from early concept through manufacturing-and how to balance cost, reliability, manufacturability, and quality as interconnected problems. You'll develop the kind of thinking that separates good engineers from great ones: understanding not just what you're building, but why it matters and how it fits into the bigger picture.
You'll thrive here if you like hard problems, want to take real ownership of projects from sketch to spec, and care about accelerating the energy transition. We value speed and quality equally-moving fast matters, but so does building it right the first time. You'll work alongside experienced mechanical and electrical engineers who'll mentor you, challenge your assumptions, and help you develop the habits and instincts of a great hardware engineer.
