As our Working Student - As-Built Update, DT+SB OSS, you will help review, organise and consolidate the as-built documentation for the DanTysk and Sandbank offshore substations. By making technical information easier to find and ensuring that the correct document revisions are available, you will support the safe and reliable operation of critical offshore wind infrastructure.
At Vattenfall, we believe there is a way to build a more sustainable energy future. In this role, your careful work will help our engineers and technical specialists make well-informed decisions every day.
About Business Area Wind

Your goal will be to help create a structured and dependable joint archive in which colleagues can locate the correct documentation efficiently.
You will receive guidance and technical support from experienced Service Engineers and work with colleagues across offshore operations, engineering, regional support and document management.
Your main activities will include
- Reviewing and comparing as-built and project documentation held in OneDrive, LiveLink, SharePoint, external hard drives, DVDs and USB storage devices
- Identifying duplicate, superseded or corrupted files and supporting the clarification of document status
- Sorting and consolidating the available documentation into a structured joint archive
- Aligning the archive with the existing shipyard documentation structure
- Adding RDSPP coding or document tags in accordance with agreed requirements
- Handling technical documentation carefully and maintaining consistent quality throughout repetitive review activities
- Consulting Service Engineers and relevant technical specialists when document content or classification requires clarification
- Helping improve the accessibility and reliability of documentation used for operating and maintaining the offshore substations
Success in this role means that engineers and supporting functions can find the right information more quickly and have greater confidence that they are working with the correct revision.
