We are now looking for a Solution Engineer Lead to strengthen our team and act as the primary technical link between customers and our engineering organisation.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will carry full responsibility for the technical dialogue with customers, ensuring requirements are captured, clarified, and translated into solutions that create value. You will:
- Act as the first technical point of contact in customer engagements, RFQs, and early project phases.
- Define, document, and structure customer requirements in alignment with Product Leads and engineering teams.
- Support concept design, feasibility analysis, and risk/cost assessments.
- Represent NCS in technical reviews, customer workshops, and gate meetings.
- Ensure smooth transition from concept to execution, securing customer approvals and quality sign-offs.
- Participate in onsite visits, fairs, and industry events, strengthening our customer partnerships and market insight.
Our requirements
We imagine that you are an engineer with the ability to see the bigger picture and connect the dots between technical complexity and customer needs. Specifically, you bring:
- An engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar).
- Experience in technical customer interface, solution ownership, or product development.
- Familiarity with stage-gate models, ERP systems, and quality processes (APQP/APQP4Wind is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across functions and cultures.
- A structured, analytical mindset with the drive to execute and deliver.
- Proficiency in English; other languages are an advantage.
