Are you an organised and proactive HR student ready to turn your curiosity for People Operations into hands-on experience?
Welcome to Alight! We help energy-intensive businesses transition to renewable energy. We develop, build, and operate solar and battery storage assets - both on-site and off-site - and sell clean electricity through long-term Power Purchase Agreements with large corporations.
We're now looking for a People & Workplace Intern to support our Stockholm office and People Operations team. This is a paid part-time role (16h per week), perfect for someone who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Your impact
As People & Workplace Intern you'll play a key role in ensuring a great employee experience and a well-functioning office. You'll collaborate across teams and contribute to projects that make a real difference in how we work and connect.
🏢 Office Management
- Manage daily office operations to keep things running smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain a welcoming office environment - ensuring meeting rooms and shared spaces are tidy and functional
- Keep the kitchen stocked and running (snacks, beverages, coffee machines)
- Coordinate with external service providers (cleaning, maintenance, deliveries)
- Order and track office materials such as key tags, access cards, and other supplies
🎉 People Operations & Employee Experience
- Support the pre-boarding and onboarding process for new joiners
- Order IT equipment (laptops, phones, accessories) and manage phone subscriptions
- Assist with logistics for company-wide events, team activities, and celebrations
- Support initiatives that strengthen our culture and make Alight a great place to work
- Support People Operations with administrative and operational tasks
- Collaborate on process improvements, including exploring the use of AI agents and automations
- Support / manage different HR related initiatives such as recruitment, surveys, process improvements etc.
- Contribute ideas for fun, engaging, and meaningful employee experiences
You'll report to our People Operations Manager and work closely with our Chief People Officer, HR Business Partners, IT Manager, and the rest of the Alight team!
We're looking for you
You're a service-minded individual with a positive, can-do attitude who thrives in a dynamic environment. You notice the small things before they become big problems - and you take initiative to fix them. You enjoy variety in your work, easily switching between different tasks while communicating clearly with both internal teams and external partners.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (with at least 1 year left of studies)
- Experience in administrative or coordination tasks
- A structured, organised working style with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with AI agents and automation
- Fluency in both Swedish and English
- Ability to work on-site at our Stockholm office (Tulegatan 11) approximately 16 hours per week split over minimum 3 days
