Job Description
Tigo Energy is the worldwide leader in delivering smart hardware and software solutions that enhance safety, increase energy yield, and lower operating costs for the solar industry. The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley, CA and has offices and installations all over the world.
The role will serve as a key technical member of the cross-functional team with the mission to create best Tigo energy products. We aim to establish the Tigo ecosystem as the center and backbone of the DER. The role is to own the integration between Tigo product and our growing number of partners and products worldwide. You will be involved through the entire development process from design, testing, qualification, and certification.
This position is based at our HQ in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and test energy storage system in the lab and field.
- Developing a deep understanding of the inverters, energy storage systems, EV chargers, and other systems used in the energy system and able to operate and test the systems in our test facilities
- Work closely with both hardware and software engineering teams internally and externally with the partners to draft the integration design and serve as a point of the technical contact
- Manage integration and product pilot in person
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in electrical Engineering
- Deep understanding in electrical, mechanical and control disciplines
- Strong communication skills to host technical discussion with oversea partners from China, Europe and Australia.
- Strong hands-on experience with electrical wiring and product assemblies
- Preferred 2+ years' professional experience with PV inverter, energy storage, or similar hardware product (testing and integration)
- Preferred 3+ years' project/product management experience
- Must speak Mandarin and English
