Job Description

At ENGIE, we're committed to accelerating the transition towards a carbon-neutral world. As the Solar & BESS Projects Manager in our Business Development division, you'll lead the process of bringing sustainable energy projects to life. Join our team in shaping the future of clean energy and creating a lasting impact on our planet.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and management of Solar & BESS development projects during the development phase;
  • Lead the Solar & BESS development team to achieve targets;
  • Establishment of project timelines in collaboration with network access and permitting teams;
  • Control of project's development budgets from origination to start of the construction works;
  • Identification and mitigation of project development risks in close collaboration with the construction team;
  • Preparation of investment committee documentation for ENGIE Group;
  • Participation in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes for projects under leadership;
  • Liaison with internal ENGIE departments involved in project preparation and implementation;
  • Organization of project handover to construction teams;
  • Leadership of due diligence processes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and project rights acquisitions;
  • Representation of the Business Development Department in business meetings and relevant gatherings;
  • Assurance of project compliance with deadlines, budget, quality, and safety standards;
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success;
  • Monitoring of industry trends and best practices in renewable energy development.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and capacity to solve problems;
  • Experience in small teams management;
  • Completed university studies with a bachelor's degree in a technical (preferred) or economic field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development within proven renewable energy credentials;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy sector;
  • Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage;
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management;
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Postgraduate studies would be considered an asset.
