Job Description
Do you wish to gain experience within an international group in one of the top companies in the Wind Power Industry and offer vital support to the Energy Transition?
The Customer Project Execution department oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with the logistics, procurement and finance departments, the team keeps the project on budget and schedule and ensures our structured safety and quality standards are met. It also works closely with the sales and legal departments to ensure each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield within the client's specifications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Vestas health and safety procedures are followed
- Supervise the delivery, construction and commissioning of wind farm projects within budget and time constraints and adhering to quality and contractual obligations
- Supervise work carried out by subcontractors and project management
- Ensure compliance and contract service levels are met at all stages
- Carry out cost control procedures and interpret budgetary changes
- Ensure compliance with planning project schedules
- Develop customer relationships and arrange regular meetings to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- A master's degree or similar level qualification in Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a project manager within construction
- Experience in a multinational environment
- Experience in a range of IT and software packages
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Competencies
- Extensive experience in supervising and coordinating teams
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Focus on maintaining a safe working environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively within international teams
- Willingness to travel and work internationally
