We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer (Medium/High Voltage) to join our Engineering Team and play a key role in the development, design, and execution of large‑scale solar photovoltaic projects.
This position is perfect for a technically strong professional who thrives on collaborating with diverse stakeholders, tackling grid‑connection challenges, and driving the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with local DSOs and subcontractors to deliver solution studies, feasibility assessments, ATR works, and PV connection strategies
- Leading grid‑connection and MV system design from concept to execution, ensuring smooth approvals and procurement
- Supporting PV plant commissioning with strong technical expertise
- Coordinating efficiently with project managers, designers, and subcontractors across all MV/HV and grid‑connection activities
- Overseeing LV/MV/HV design packages to meet local standards and DSO requirements
- Preparing tender documents and competitive pricing proposals for MV/HV and grid‑connection scopes
- Managing tendering processes with local and international subcontractors
- Providing on‑site technical supervision during PV plant construction
- Supporting client negotiations with technical input on pricing, proposals, and EPC contracts
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience - medium voltage & high voltage
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fluency in Romanian and English is mandatory
- Strong project management capabilities
- Experience in engineering and commissioning support for solar PV or grid‑stability systems is a strong advantage
- Experience with energy storage systems is a plus
- Hands‑on knowledge of HV‑scale solar system engineering, from conceptual design to detailed engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other technical software relevant to the role
- Valid ANRE licenses
