You will play a vital role in maximising the company's cash flow by proactively managing outstanding debt and unbilled accounts, helping to protect profits and support sustainable growth. This position is responsible for minimising exposure to bad debt through effective credit control practices, professional customer engagement, and the timely collection of overdue accounts. By developing strong relationships with customers and internal teams, you will ensure that financial risk is managed efficiently while maintaining the company's high standards of service.

This role involves daily management and tracking of debts, including key accounts and management agencies, through regular customer contact and collaboration with third-party collection agencies when necessary. You will also support administrative processes such as tenancy and management agency changes, oversee legal recovery actions, and create accurate, insightful reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Demonstrable experience within a customer service environment;
  • Proven debt management skills and experience;
  • IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook.
