Job Description

Cundall have been working on various projects in Malaysia from our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia so this is the natural progression for the business, building on long standing relationships and offering the same high standard of multidisciplinary design and consultancy services.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Structural Engineering expert to join our Pioneer team in Malaysia.
This excellent opportunity would see you as part of our pioneer team in Malaysia and working on some of the most exciting projects across Asia and internationally.
As part of our established team of expert engineers and technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will lead a project team in delivering projects throughout the entire process of structural engineering design, from conceptual design stage towards construction.
You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships and ensure repeat business as well as use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and lead the structural team in Kuala Lumpur.
The Skills
- Accredited BEng or MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering with Professional Engineer registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
- You will have proven experience of managing medium / large size projects and delivering to time and budgetary deadlines, whilst complying with operational and other procedures.
- You will have broad and deep technical knowledge in Structural Engineering, plus demonstrable understanding of other disciplines.
- Familiar with local codes of practice and authority submission and approval procedures. Experience of using international design codes is a plus.
- Competent user of relevant structural engineering software.
- Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
