Job Description

GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.

What you can expect

We are looking for a dedicated Country Manager Spain (m/f/d) to lead and further develop our local operations within the Regional Center Western Europe. The role combines strategic and hands-on responsibilities in team leadership, budget ownership, and market development, with a strong focus on driving growth and strengthening our position in the Spanish market.

Tasks

  • Full responsibility for the management and strategic development of the local legal entity
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Spanish sales team, including goal setting, performance reviews, and continuous development of team members
  • Target-oriented responsibility for personnel, revenue, and budget planning in alignment with company-wide objectives
  • Recognising and exploiting market opportunities as well as establishing and developing a market presence in the country
  • Collaboration with internal departments to ensure efficient operations and optimal customer satisfaction
  • Regular reporting of results, forecasts, and market analyses to headquarters, including KPI monitoring and performance controlling
  • Responsibility for warranty and claim management in close coordination with the technical teams

Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a leadership position
  • In-depth knowledge of the photovoltaic industry, including tender processes and contract negotiations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, sales-driven mindset
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; German language skills are an advantage
  • Well-connected within the Spanish PV industry and familiar with local market dynamics
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and internationally
