Job Description
As a Logistics Expert, you analyze logistical challenges and develop tailored supply chain solutions for offshore wind projects. You will be involved in both tenders and active projects, working closely with an experienced colleague who provides guidance and support.
This entry-level role forms a strong foundation for a career in offshore project logistics. You will gain expertise through hands-on experience, cross-team collaboration, and continuous on-the-job learning. Depending on the project, you may work from headquarters or on-site at project locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop supply chain solutions for cable and foundation logistics within offshore wind projects.
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations for tenders and project scopes.
- Support tender teams by preparing detailed logistics strategies, cost estimates and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with DEME Procurement and internal stakeholders to ensure logistics solutions are feasible, safe and efficient.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration / Applied Economics, Business Engineer, Engineering, Supply Chain Management degree, nautical degree;
- Speak and write English fluently;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design customized logistics solutions.
- Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
