YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to the Head of Contract Department and functionally to the Project Manager, the Contract Manager oversees the full lifecycle of EPC and service contracts-from signature to final acceptance and during the O&M phase-ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and contractual performance.

Performance of the contract

  • Prepare a contract summary highlighting key risks, obligations, and mitigation actions.
  • Support the Project Manager in monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with the schedule.
  • Manage contractual administration (bank guarantees, warranties, insurance, payments, documentation).
  • Handle variations, claims, and contractual correspondence for EPC and service contracts.
  • Identify and manage contractual risks, ensuring alignment with financial documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, PMO, Asset Owner) on reporting, communication, and actions required for financial close.
  • Prepare and negotiate contract amendments and support dispute documentation when needed.

In the warranty phase

  • Manage warranty issues under the EPC contract.
  • Follow up on punch list closure and verify performance guarantees.
  • Calculate and apply liquidated damages (LDs) when required.
  • Coordinate final acceptance and prepare the project closing report, including lessons learned.

Deployment of the tools

  • Implement tools ensuring traceability and documentation of contractual events.
  • Manage contract archiving and communication tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Master's degree in the fields of law, commerce, purchasing, economics, finance, etc.
  • University Diploma in Contract Management
  • Business School Diploma Diploma of IEP (Institute of Political Studies)
  • Engineering School Diploma
  • A first experience in the areas of contract management is necessary
  • General knowledge of the renewable energy sector
  • In-depth knowledge of Contract Management
  • General knowledge of finance and project management
  • Knowledge of non-recourse project finance (infrastructure financing) is a plus
  • Fluency in English essential
