This role is critical in strengthening our financial accounting capability, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and high-quality analytical insights to support informed business decisions.

You will also play a key role in managing the organisation's bank guarantee processes and associated compliance obligations, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities include

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reporting in line with accounting standards, supporting month-end and year-end close activities
  • Provide technical accounting advice and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements
  • Deliver financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
  • Maintain effective internal controls and support continuous improvement of compliance processes
  • Partner with business units, customers, and external advisors, including managing bank guarantee processes and liaising with auditors and regulators

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, and CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or other capital-intensive industries; experience with major accounting firms is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems desirable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, influence stakeholders, and deliver with high attention to detail
