About the role

Reporting into the Lead Planning and Reporting Engineer, the Planning and Reporting Engineer will assist in planning the operation and maintenance of all assets installed across allocated Wind Farms within the Service Business. This role works collaboratively with other Planning and Reporting Engineers to optimise resource use and schedule upcoming services activities across Wind Turbine Generators, Balance of Plant equipment, hardstand, access racks, and site compliance requirements.

Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, as you'll work closely with frontline operational teams and key stakeholders. Occasional travel to wind farms will be required.

What you will be doing?

  • Plan and report on operation maintenance activities across wind farm assets.
  • Develop and maintain the WOM schedule in MS Project and coordinate CMMS tasks across sites.
  • Prepare work packs (labour, materials, and subcontractors) for scheduled, reactive and compliance work orders in accordance with Goldwind and Technical Standards.
  • Participate in planning meetings and conduct regular forward- looking resource optimization reviews.
  • Track progress CMMS workorders and contribute to weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Identify scheduling risks and report to the Site Service Manager.
  • Contribute to the standardization of work processes across Service Department and collaborate with site personnel to identify continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the Quality Department with the analysis of O&M data, participating with the audit program when required.
  • Assist the HSEQ Department with scheduling and planning of HSEQ and compliance tasks.
  • Assist in undertaking planning of operations and maintenance activities to other Goldwind Wind Farms.

What does your background look like?

  • 2+ years' experience in planning or reporting role within the renewable energy, power, construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries would be highly regarded.
  • Mechanical or Electrical trade and/or tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project controls, information management systems, and maintenance planning.
  • Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP, Ellipse, Maximo) and project management tools (MS Project).
  • Strong skills in schedule management, data analysis, and reporting using Excel, SQL, or Python would also be highly regarded.
  • Proficient in Office 365 (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Word).
