Modern Workplace Consultant (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Modern Workplace Consultant to join our Endpoint Management team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Microsoft Intune, Windows and Apple device management, application packaging, modern printing solutions, and advanced troubleshooting. This role is perfect for someone passionate about modern endpoint technologies, automation, security, and delivering seamless end-user experiences.

What you will do

Endpoint Management (Windows & Apple Devices)

• Manage, configure, and optimize Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices.
• Create and maintain configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines for both Windows and Apple endpoints.
• Implement and support modern onboarding processes such as Windows Autopilot and Apple Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Ensure device health, compliance, and lifecycle management across the enterprise.
• working with Microsoft Intune Suite, Endpoint Priveledge Management and Windows 365.

Application Packaging & Deployment

• Package, test, and deploy applications for Windows (MSI, Win32, MSIX) and macOS (.pkg, .dmg) platforms.
• Maintain deployment workflows, versioning, and update cycles using Intune and modern management tools.
• Work closely with application owners to ensure compatibility, performance, and minimal disruption.

Windows & macOS Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues across Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
• Support OS updates, performance issues, driver conflicts, profile issues, and application-related incidents.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to L1/L2 support teams and maintain knowledge documentation.

Printer & Peripheral Management

• Manage enterprise printing solutions, including traditional print servers, cloud print services, and modern tools like Universal Print or PrinterLogic.
• Troubleshoot printer drivers, queues, connectivity and ensure seamless printing for hybrid and office-based employees.
• Streamline print workflows as part of the overall endpoint modernization strategy.

Modern Endpoint Solutions & Innovation

• Evaluate, implement, and support new technologies in the modern workplace ecosystem (e.g., App Control, Zero Trust solutions, LAPS, EPM, EDR integrations, cloud-based management platforms).
• Identify opportunities for automation using PowerShell, shell scripts, or API integrations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve security, efficiency, and user experience.

What you'll need to succeed

• 7-10+ years in Modern Workplace or Endpoint Management roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Enterprise management of Windows and macOS devices
• Application packaging and deployment (Windows & macOS)
• Solid troubleshooting skills across both platforms
• Experience with printer management and cloud printing
• Knowledge of configuration profiles, compliance, and security policies

• Relevant certifications (MD‑102, MS‑102, ACSP, Jamf 200/300)
