Job Description

As a Storage EPC Coordinator (m/f/d) - EMEA Region, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across EMEA. You will act as a bridge between technical, commercial, and project teams, ensuring that EPC strategies, contracting models, and cross-functional processes are aligned for smooth project delivery.

The position can be based at our Munich headquarters or at one of our other BayWa r.e. offices in Germany.

What you will do

  • You will identify internal capabilities and external partners to enable storage turnkey sales prior to construction.
  • You will assess risks and cost implications for different EPC contracting structures and delivery models.
  • You will support market and project selection for storage turnkey sales by providing key commercial and technical inputs.
  • You will contribute to defining company-wide financial requirements and profit margins for storage turnkey solutions before construction.
  • You will collaborate closely with local teams and Project Managers to implement turnkey sales concepts within storage projects.
  • You will collect and integrate lessons learned from EPC activities into contract templates and internal processes, and share these insights with technical teams.
  • You will coordinate information flow between the Head of Storage, Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Grid, and Contracting teams.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A technical or engineering degree, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the technical development and EPC execution of storage or related infrastructure projects.
  • Solid understanding of EPC contracting structures and delivery models for storage or energy projects.
  • Ability to analyse project risks, financial parameters, and contracting strategies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages from the EMEA region are an advantage.
