Job Description

GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.

What you can expect

As a Contract Manager (m/f/d), you will support our Regional Centre Eastern Europe in both sales and project execution activities and provide guidance on legal and contractual matters throughout all project phases. You will be involved from project development and tendering through to execution, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. In this interdisciplinary role, you will act with confidence and professionalism, maintain a strong focus on the company's strategic objectives, and contribute to a fast-growing, dynamic business environment.

Tasks

  • Review, comment on and negotiate contracts during the tendering phase, with a strong focus on EPC contracts
  • Draft, review and further develop contracts and legal standard templates in close cooperation with the legal department
  • Prepare and present risk and opportunity assessments for internal stakeholders during the tendering phase
  • Design and continuously improve processes to minimise project-related risks
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on tender- and project-related topics with a legal focus
  • Act as an interface between sales, project teams and internal/external legal advisors
  • Support project teams during the execution of contracts
  • Prevent and manage project-related third-party claims, particularly within the supply chain
  • Assert and defend project-related claims
  • Support the administration of contracts as well as legal disputes and arbitration proceedings

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a comparable legal qualification, ideally with above-average academic results
  • Alternatively, a degree as a corporate lawyer, commercial lawyer or a comparable legal background
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Contract Management, ideally within an EPC company
  • Very good written and spoken English and Polish
  • Strong ability to quickly understand complex contractual and legal issues and develop practical, business-oriented solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear and pragmatic legal advice
  • Confident, persuasive personality with strong negotiation skills and perseverance
  • High adaptability to different and changing negotiation environments and stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset in asserting claims and successfully defending against counterclaims
  • Strong drafting skills, including the ability to prepare clear and convincing correspondence in dispute situations
  • Willingness to take responsibility for decisions
  • Ability to work independently
