Job Description

Welcome to our Customer Project Execution (CPX) team in Asia (Onshore)!

We are dedicated to delivering projects to our customers across the Asia region. Our ability to deliver projects hinges on close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, cost-efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. As a member of the CPX team, you will be responsible for the execution of Wind Turbine Supply/Installation projects. You will ensure that projects are executed within the scope of the contract, on budget, on schedule, and with impeccable quality. Key functions of this role include customer relationship management, quality and cost control, safety, risk/opportunity assessment, and providing leadership to the entire project team. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting Project Manager in initiating, planning, controlling, and closing all activities associated with the safe project execution;
  • Ensuring that projects are planned, optimised, and executed with the correct scope, strategy, contract, time schedule, budget and are aligned between all stakeholders;
  • Contributing to QHSE efforts for an injury and incident-free safety culture at the project site;
  • Tracking customer deliverables and ensuring information is timely and accurate;
  • Coordinating contractors, vendors, customers and site team on operational requirements;
  • Maintaining internal project Governance and management system requirements.
  • Representing Vestas' values and advocating high standards in performance and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree within Engineering or Contractual background, Project Manager education or similar combined with technical understanding;
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience primarily from managing large-scale construction projects in an international environment; 5-7 years of years should be preferred
  • Experience with modular construction projects
  • Advanced business understanding/analytical skills and good understanding of the value chain;
  • Demonstrated history of reaching agreements with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of modular development and new product introductions across a global value chain is beneficial;
  • Ability to maintain an overview and think ahead, but also to appreciate the operational aspects;
  • Knowledge about the Stage Gate model
  • Product understanding and awareness;
  • Risk Management competencies;
  • Commercial insight;
  • Contractual as well as technical understanding;
  • Awareness of cultural diversity.
  • Certified in project management tools, e.g., Prince2, IPMA, PMP
  • Good IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, BI, or equivalent EPR knowledge.
