Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Engineer - Change Management to lead and coordinate end-to-end Engineering Change Requests (ECR) within the MECM process. In this role, you will drive structured execution of changes across engineering, production, and cross-functional teams-ensuring transparency, process compliance, and timely implementation.

You will be responsible for effective intake, prioritization, planning, and execution of technical changes while balancing operational, technical, and business requirements. This position plays a key role in enabling process excellence, improving workflows, and ensuring high-quality governance across all change activities.

Responsibilities

Engineering Change Coordination

  • Pre-review, validate, and assess new Engineering Change Requests.
  • Assign requests to the appropriate functional areas and ensure complete, high-quality input.
  • Plan and manage timelines, priorities, and resources together with MECM areas and requesters.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication between all stakeholders (engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and others).
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings to monitor progress, highlight dependencies, and resolve roadblocks.
  • Ensure alignment of decisions across global and local teams.

Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure full adherence to the ECM/MECM process, technical standards, and internal SLAs.
  • Identify risks early, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and enhancements to tools, workflows, and data quality.

Reporting & Governance

  • Track budgets related to change activities.
  • Prepare KPI dashboards and statistical reports to support decision-making.
  • Maintain high data quality and strong process transparency.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical and product support across MECM activities.
  • Work with PLM/ECM tools (e.g., Windchill) and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Utilize engineering knowledge to support evaluation and execution of changes.

Our requirements

  • Experience in Engineering Change Management or production engineering.
  • Understanding of electrical/production engineering fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production flow.
  • Practical experience with PLM (Windchill) and ERP systems (D365) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (production, electrical, mechanical, or related).
  • Several years of experience in change management, production engineering, or similar roles.
