About The Role

  • Support the Project Director in devising and implementing bid strategies to ensure the business secures deliverable and value accretive options
  • Coordinate across the project team the Bid Preparation Strategy to identify and determine the required program of work against bid success factors
  • Manage a team of external advisor including bid advisor, financial advisor, etc. Supervise stakeholder coordination across joint venture partnerships, with particular collaboration with the Procurement team. Support relationship management with Japanese partner organizations
  • Prepare, manage and submit tender documentation including pre-qualification requirements and bid submissions, with effective coordination across internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate internal approval processes with RWE Headquarters alongside senior project leadership
  • Contribute to the identification of strategic levers and implementation thereof into the project's business case to increase the competitiveness and deliverability of the bid
  • Support efforts to increase scoring against tender criteria (e.g. stakeholder management criteria, capability criteria, local supply criteria, etc.) and evaluate potential trade-offs
  • Develop subject matter knowledge on Japanese auction rules and METI regulatory requirements
  • Ensure bid submissions comply with tender regulations. Make sure best practice approaches and tools are shared across and transferred into bid projects
