We are looking for an HR Specialist to support HR Manager in Mexico, the HR Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, ensuring accuracy in HR processes, maintaining employee data integrity, supporting employees and managers, and contributing to a positive workplace environment. The role also supports benefits administration, employee support activities, time and attendance management, overtime tracking, and the delivery of efficient HR administrative services.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute HR-related administrative tasks and ad hoc duties with a high level of accuracy, in line with established procedures.
- Maintain the integrity of HR records and HRIS databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Support core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, engagement initiatives, safety programs, and training activities.
- Advise and support employees in understanding HR policies and resolving routine HR-related matters.
- Respond to internal HR inquiries in close collaboration with HR teammates, escalating complex issues to senior HR professionals as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend enhancements to HR operational processes.
- Administer benefits processes, employee support activities, and maintain accurate records of working hours and overtime.
- Provide administrative support to the Local HR Manager and contribute to HR reporting and documentation.
- Provide understanding and guidance on local requirements to support both the business and employees.
- Manage local people practices, including local benefits administration, the employee handbook, and health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Deliver Local HR Operations in a consistent and coherent manner, supporting the full employee life cycle in close alignment with the People Support Hub.
- Drive standardization of local administrative processes and contribute to continuous service improvement across all areas of HR delivery.
- Maintain corporate systems by processing and updating transactions under Local HR responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, manuals, safety, health, and environmental codes, as well as corporate guidelines related to quality, health, safety, and environment.
- Support payroll processes in accordance with local legal and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to internal and external audits, as well as internal control and reporting activities of the company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional HR-related certifications (e.g., HRIS training, labor law courses, employee relations certifications) are considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative roles with exposure to HR processes.
- Experience managing HRIS platforms, employee records, compliance documentation, and HR reporting.
- Prior experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, offboarding, employee support, benefits administration, or time and attendance management.
- Proven ability to work in environments requiring confidentiality, attention to detail, accuracy, and effective multitasking.
