You'll be part of AWS IPL where you, together with your colleagues, will drive platform development and the productization of AWS core services such as compute, storage, databases. You'll be part of a global, innovative team that thrives on collaboration and learning. In AWS IPL, we focus on building cloud products that are secure by design, easy to consume, and ready to scale

As a team, we collaborate across disciplines, share knowledge openly, and support each other's growth while building scalable cloud products that help power a world running on green energy.

You'll play an important role in

  • building a Platform based on AWS native services: design and build standardized, enterprise-ready cloud platform with core functionalities like account management, IAM, Backup, Cloudwatch and more
  • driving automation and infrastructure as Code: use Terraform/CloudFormation and automate service onboarding using GitHub workflows
  • embedding governance and security: integrate governance, tagging, security, and monitoring controls into AWS platform "by design"
  • enabling developers: providing onboarding guides, training, and self-service templates that make cloud consumption simple, secure, and compliant.
  • Fostering collaboration: working with product owners, architects, and application teams to align AWS solutions with business and technical needs.
  • ensuring operational excellence :build resilience, cost optimisation, and observability built into every product from day one.

To succeed in the role, you

  • Demonstrate deep AWS expertise

Bring hands-on experience with a wide range of AWS services, including governance patterns, networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, hybrid connectivity), and AWS Backup. Apply cloud architecture principles aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework

  • Build and manage infrastructure as code

Show proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation, maintaining strong code hygiene through version control, peer reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards

  • Enable secure and scalable cloud solutions

    Apply cloud security best practices (encryption, least privilege, secrets management, compliance frameworks like ISO and NIST) and identity management concepts (IAM, Entra ID, SSO, RBAC)

  • Drive automation and operational excellence

Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), observability tools (CloudWatch), and define meaningful KPIs/SLIs/SLOs. Optimize costs across AWS services using strategies like Savings Plans, right-sizing, and storage tiering

  • Embrace agility and a product mindset

Apply agile and DevOps practices, including backlog management, sprint delivery, and continuous improvement. Drive initiatives to enable AWS services as reusable, secure, and scalable products

  • Collaborate and lead effectively

Communicate technical concepts clearly across teams, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of AWS product streams.
