YOUR MISSIONS
The Performance Engineer supports the analysis and monitoring of the operational performance of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) plants, contributing to compliance with contractual requirements during the project lifecycle, including commissioning, warranty, and operational phases. The role focuses on:
- Support the preparation and execution of performance tests under the guidance of senior engineers;
- Assist in the development and maintenance of performance analysis tools and models (primarily in Excel and basic scripting tools);
- Collect, process, and validate operational data from SCADA systems, weather stations, and equipment logs;
- Contribute to the preparation of technical and performance reports for EPC and O&M contracts;
- Support root-cause analysis of performance deviations and contribute to identifying improvement opportunities;
- Participate in technical meetings with internal teams and occasionally with clients;
- Collaborate with O&M, Contract Management, and Engineering teams on performance-related topics.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or other relevant engineering field;
- Basic understanding of photovoltaic plant operation and performance concepts;
- Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python or other scripting tools is considered a plus;
- Interest in data analysis and performance monitoring;
- Familiarity with SCADA systems or data visualization tools;
- Knowledge of PV performance standards is desirable but not required;
- English working proficiency.
