Senior Specialist, Finance Business Partner - Monitoring & Service

Job Description

This role is established to replace a resigned Finance Business Partner while strengthening financial support for Monitoring & Service Division (M&S) and help guide the management teams' to deliver on strategic ambitions. M&S delivers a wide range of spareparts and services for wind turbines and monitoring solutions to help reduce customers' maintenance costs and extend asset lifespan.

The Senior Specialist, Finance Business Partner will support M&S activities across Europe and the USA, acting as a trusted partner to the business and driving performance across time zones.

The role combines strong business partnering, advanced financial analytics, and project management capabilities, particularly in transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner (FBP) for a designated Business Unit and the US market, including active participation in management teams
• Deliver actionable financial insights and translate complex data into clear business recommendations
• Lead financial planning processes for Monitoring & Service (budgeting, forecasting, outlooks)
• Perform ongoing project follow-up (both customer-related and service-related projects)
• Own OPEX controlling, including initiatives to improve utilization and cost efficiency
• Lead and contribute to strategic finance and transformation projects
• Prepare and coordinate financial reporting (monthly reporting, PBRM, and adhoc analyses)
• Conduct profit improvement analyses and provide concrete recommendations to improve performance
• Drive self-service reporting and analytics, freeing up capacity for higher-value FBP activities
• Work closely with the FP&A team and a wide range of global stakeholders

Our requirements

Professional & Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Controller, or in a similar finance role within an international environment
• Strong analytical skills with handson experience in BI (preferably Power BI)
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably D365
• Solid understanding of financial planning, OPEX controlling, and management reporting

Personal Skills

• Ability to act as a trusted business partner with a strong challenger mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional setup
• Experience in project management, especially within finance transformation initiatives
• High level of independence, proactivity, and ability to operate across time zones
• Work in a structured manner with high attention to quality

Languages

• Fluent English (daily cooperation with EU and US stakeholders)
