Responsibilities

The Asset Manager will be responsible for the overall technical and commercial performance of the assigned assets in Poland, ensuring electricity production targets are met while maintaining control over costs and key financial metrics such as EBITDA.

The role includes full accountability for plant operations in close collaboration with O&M, Finance, Energy, Legal, and Engineering teams, as well as active management of key external stakeholders including landowners, authorities, lenders, investors, DSO/TSO, and electricity off-takers to ensure successful execution of the business case and long-term asset performance.

  • Maximising production and billing of the power plant portfolio to meet or exceed the business plan, minimizing Downtime, minimizing Business Losses, maximising efficiency
  • Defining the assets needs and planning the related activities
  • Forecasting of operative and economic asset performances for budgeting purpose;
  • Ensuring the completeness of the documentation register on all plants;
  • Monitoring of plant performance and issue detection, analysis and resolution on daily, weekly and monthly basis;
  • Plant performance and incident analysis
  • Support on negotiation of Operations & Maintenance, security and related ops. contracts
  • Managing the onboarding of the assets from the construction
  • Enforcement of warranties with contractors and suppliers
  • Follow-up on insurance claims and related claims management
  • Perform technical checks on site and in case manage technical interventions through contractual frameworks and service agreements with the contractors.
  • On-site supervision as required

Requirements

  • At least three year of experience in asset managment and in the Polish photovoltaic/renewables electricity market
  • The candidate should have proven experience with the grid connection process and regulatory requirements for renewable energy generation assets, as well as a solid understanding of the operational interaction between producers and network operators in Poland, including both the TSO and DSOs.
  • Fundamental Financial KPIs Knowledge
  • Strong capability to manage technical, operational and economics performance, including energy optimisation, OPEX control and KPI reporting
  • Analytical skills with the ability to manage large and complex data sets, combined with hands on experience using key asset management digital tools such as SCADA systems, Asset Management (AM) platforms, ERP solutions, dashboards, and automation or AI enabled applications.
  • Highly organized style, demonstrated ability to set priorities and be proactive
  • Self-motivated, curious in learning and problem-solver with high attention to detail
  • Good communication soft skills
  • Advanced level of English
