Job Description

The Senior Lead, acting as the Engineering Change Management (ECM) Track Lead, is responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of the ECM workstream within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) project, part of the Digital Thread Program.

Working closely with the ECM Architect, this role ensures that business requirements and user needs shape both the PLM system solution and the end‑to‑end ECM process.

Responsibilities

  • Align cross-functional teams on ECM scope, roles, and decision points.
  • Lead the definition and development of the ECM process within the PLM implementation, ensuring it reflects real business needs and supports efficient change execution.
  • Translate business requirements into clear ECM process workflows.
  • Ensure ECM processes support high data quality, full traceability, and real-time visibility of engineering changes.
  • Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) for ECM process workstream.
  • Ensure effective Change Control during project design phases by aligning the ECM process with project-driven needs.
  • Collaborate with the ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) project team to ensure ECM processes integrate effectively with broader lifecycle management capabilities.

Our requirements

  • Strong understanding of Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes.
  • Experience working with PLM systems.
  • Strong understanding of the R&D / product development lifecycle, with particular focus on change management during the development phase (design iterations, prototyping, validation, release to production).
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle processes and cross-functional integration (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain).
  • Experience translating business requirements into process configuration, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with system-enabled KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring.
  • Proven ability to lead a workstream within a complex project.
  • Ability to operate effectively in close partnership with a Domain Lead.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination, execution focus, and structured problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Systems, Electrical or related disciplines).

Relevant Experience Required

8 to 12 Years.

Certifications & Licenses

Certification in Project Management is an advantage.
