This role in a nutshell

As a Property Services Manager, you are the lynchpin for the operational delivery of property services at OVO. You will ensure our workplaces are safe, functional, and efficient by expertly managing our network of third-party facilities management providers. This role is a hands-on blend of strategic oversight and daily operational excellence, where you will directly impact the well-being and productivity of our people.

You will be the operational lead, ensuring that all services, from routine maintenance to building security, are delivered on time, to a high standard, and in full compliance with regulations. You will thrive on problem-solving, proactively managing service requests, and building strong, collaborative relationships with contractors and internal teams alike.

Your key outcomes will be

  • Operational Leadership: Serve as the main point of contact for multiple facilities management services, working closely with contractors and internal teams to meet the daily needs of our sites.
  • Contractor Partnership: Partner with the Property Manager (Compliance and Governance) to support tendering, onboarding, and mobilising new contractors and services.
  • Service & Systems Management: Own the end-to-end management of service requests, planned maintenance, and reactive work. You will use CAFM systems to schedule, track, and report on all activities, ensuring data is accurate and complete.
  • Issue Resolution & Compliance: Actively monitor service delivery, escalating and resolving issues promptly and professionally. You will track resolutions and ensure clear accountability between third-party providers and internal teams.
  • Building Security Oversight: Manage our building security providers, guaranteeing high standards for access control, incident response, and overall site safety.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site walkthroughs to verify service delivery against expectations, ensuring high levels of quality and responsiveness.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain up-to-date compliance and service records to support internal audits. You will also coordinate documentation and on-site readiness with suppliers for health and safety reviews.

  • Have a proven track record in workplace or property service delivery, third-party supplier coordination, or facilities operations.
  • Are a confident problem-solver with strong experience in managing third-party providers across a variety of service types.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence, whether you're speaking with contractors, building users, or senior stakeholders.
  • Are meticulously organized and detail-oriented, with a practical understanding of facilities management delivery. You can effectively prioritise and manage competing demands with a calm, can-do attitude.
  • Are proficient in using CAFM systems to schedule, track, and report on work, with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Are proactive and take full ownership of issues, seeing them through to a successful resolution.

We'll pay you between ??35,000 and ??41,000, depending on your specific skills and experience.

You'll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
