As our Global Fleet Manager, you will take full ownership of FairWind's international vehicle portfolio. You will shape the long‑term fleet strategy, secure cost‑efficient operations, ensure compliance across multiple regions, and use technology and data to create a fleet setup that is safe, efficient, and fit for the future.

You will work closely with Regional Fleet Managers, Supply Chain, Finance, QHSE & ESG, and our external partners. Your impact will be visible across the entire FairWind Group.

This role reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain Management NCE.

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, procurement, or similar - ideally in an international setting.
  • A relevant degree, e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills; experience with fleet management systems and telematics.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and navigate different time zones, markets, and regulatory environments.
  • A mindset that balances strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when needed - approximately 40-60 days per year.

Your Role

Strategic & Operational Ownership

  • Define and implement FairWind's global fleet strategy and maintain vehicle policies, including the annual update of company car rules, eligibility criteria, and operational standards.
  • Lead global budgeting for fleet operations, ensuring cost control and efficiency.

Safety, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure alignment with all relevant international and local fleet regulations.
  • Build and enforce safety standards and accident‑prevention practices.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Negotiate and manage high‑value contracts with global suppliers, leasing partners, fuel providers, and service networks.

Technology & Data

  • Define the global fleet management system requirements and lead its implementation across all regions.
  • Oversee fleet management systems, telematics, GPS tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure data transparency, standardization, and actionable performance insights across regions.

Sustainability

  • Lead FairWind's green fleet initiatives - EV integration, carbon‑reduction efforts, and responsible financial decision‑making.
