Job Description

OX2 develops, constructs and manages renewable energy solutions at scale. We accelerate the transition to renewable energy by developing wind power, solar power and energy storage projects across Europe and beyond.

As we continue to expand our portfolio and investment activities, we are looking for a Manager within Investment Analysis to join our team and contribute to the evaluation and development of renewable energy investments.

About the Role

The Manager - Investment Analysis will be an integral part of OX2's Investment Analysis team from day one. In this role, you are expected to add value early on and take independent responsibility for selected workstreams.

The role is multifaceted and includes delivering high-quality investment analysis and business case management for selected projects, portfolios or markets. You will work with projects across their entire lifecycle - from development and acquisition through realization and into operations.

In addition, you will contribute to the development of best practices, valuation methodologies, investment analysis standards and business case evaluation tools, helping ensure high-quality decision-making across OX2's investment processes.

The role involves collaboration with colleagues across different teams and geographies, as well as external stakeholders. Building a strong understanding of renewable energy project development, procurement and construction will be an important part of your work.

You will also have exposure to senior decision-makers, project stakeholders and strategic discussions, and the role may include occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver investment analysis and financial modelling for renewable energy projects and portfolios.
  • Develop and manage business cases for projects across their lifecycle, from development and acquisition to construction and operations.
  • Support investment decisions and strategic evaluations through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of valuation methodologies, investment analysis standards and internal tools.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across development, project management, finance and other functions.
  • Participate in transaction and investment processes, including analysis and evaluation during execution phases.
  • Ensure high-quality analysis and decision support for internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Contribute to improving best practices and ways of working within the Investment Analysis team.

Qualifications

We believe you have:

  • BSc or MSc in Finance and/or Economics, and/or MSc in Engineering, preferably with specialization in Finance or Industrial Engineering.
  • Approximately 5-10 years of relevant professional experience within areas such as: M&A, Investment banking, Transaction services, Corporate finance, Valuation and Private equity
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, combined with a structured way of working.
  • A genuine interest in investment analysis, deal-making and valuation.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
  • Experience from the renewable energy industry is considered meriting but is not a prerequisite.
