Job Description

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide engineering support to our blade manufacturing Goleniow plant (polyester blades).
The Engineer will be responsible for assessing non-standard repair or defect cases and developing an effective response with other members of the team. From this perspective the engineer should have a good understanding of the design and failure modes associated with composite structures.
This role is requiring on-site support during weekdays and periodic home office support during weekends. We are looking for Engineer who will be working primarily on second shift with option of rota schedule between day and afternoon shift.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the utilization of approved materials and methodologies compliant with all applicable specifications, while maintaining the intended design integrity of the product
- Oversees, assesses, and documents production deviations
- Provides comprehensive support to manufacturing operations on a broad range of quality‐ and production‑related matters, including the identification and implementation of opportunities to enhance defect‑handling processes
- Conducts repair audits in accordance with Global Repair Audit requirements
- Provides support for the execution and validation of First Article Inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Knowledge of wind turbine blade design, manufacturing processes, and operational principles
- Willingness to travel, up to approximately 10 weeks per year
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; basic structural calculations and familiarity with FEA will be beneficial
- Advanced proficiency in English and Polish, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license
