We're looking for a Italian-speaking Sales Account Executive. This is a pivotal role driving our growth with both existing and new enterprise customers across the Italian-speaking energy market.
It's more than just a sales role: this is a chance to shape how Volue engages with the local market, working with purpose, autonomy, and an experienced international team passionate about solving meaningful challenges.
What You'll Do
As a Sales Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle - from identifying and qualifying opportunities to closing deals - while building strong, long-term customer partnerships. Your work will directly support utilities, power producers and energy traders in navigating complexity and maximising value.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building and executing strategic account plans for key prospects and customers.
- Developing strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across all levels and building champions on customer side.
- Leading the full sales process: identifying leads, qualifying opportunities, delivering compelling demos, negotiating terms, and closing.
- Collaborating with Sales Development Reps, Solution Consultants, Sales Engineers, and Delivery teams to present tailored solutions.
- Managing your pipeline effectively, maintaining CRM up-to-date and reporting your forecast.
- Championing customer needs internally to ensure successful onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
We're looking for a results-driven professional who understands the energy landscape and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
You'll need
- A degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience selling enterprise software, with proven success in B2B/SaaS sales.
- First-hand experience in the energy industry; strong understanding of energy market trends, needs and challenge.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex, consultative solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Skilled in differentiating the Volue offering against competitors and effectively reframing customer objections.
- Strong hunter mentality to sell Energy Software and Energy Market Data & Forecasts into the Italian energy enterprise market, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Adept at maintaining and expanding customer relationships through regular account health checks and opportunity discovery.
- Proficient in using CRM systems with high discipline and transparency in sales reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Native-level proficiency in Italian and fluent in English (written and spoken); international experience is a plus.
