Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager will lead business development and account strategy efforts across key automotive and Tier 1 manufacturing customers. This is a high-impact role responsible for expanding GEO's footprint in the North American battery market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in chemical materials and experience managing large enterprise relationships across technical and commercial functions.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Own and drive account strategy, relationship management, and revenue growth with key OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
  • Translate customer needs into actionable internal plans across sales, technical, and R&D teams
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial planning
  • Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals
  • Monitor market trends and identify business development opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product introductions and customer onboarding
  • Represent GEO at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
  • 5-8 years of technical B2B sales experience in the chemical materials or battery industry
  • Deep knowledge of electrolytes, lithium-ion battery systems, and OEM purchasing cycles
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and closing large deals
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
