About the Role
As Country Manager, you will lead and grow Eolus' operations in Poland and play a key role in performing the company's strategic direction in one of our core markets. You will be responsible for leading a strong local organization, identifying and developing project opportunities, and ensuring that our Polish portfolio delivers strong commercial and strategic results.
The role is both strategic and hands-on. You will oversee the full project development lifecycle in Poland including market screening, origination and development till projects are ready to build. This includes leading a continuous project and pipeline flow of strong commercial projects and technologies while ensuring alignment with Eolus' values, long-term strategy, and financial goals.
In this role, you will
- Build, lead, and develop the Polish team in a collaborative way.
- Drive the Eolus Poland P&L, managing the project portfolio, ensuring project development of strong commercial projects and market relevant technologies from origination to ready to build status.
- Closely monitor and engage in market activities following market trends and drivers
- Be responsible for budgeting, project prioritization and financial monitoring.
- Represent Eolus towards external stakeholders such as authorities, landowners, partners, and industry associations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor developments in Polish energy policy and permitting processes.
- Collaborate with central functions such as technology, engineering, M&A, power markets, and finance to optimize project value.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have
- 10-15 years of experience in the energy sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy development processes in Poland.
- Strong commercial and technical understanding, experience from power markets and M&A a clear plus
- Proven experience from commercially successful projects in Poland.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- High proficiency in English.
- MSc degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
