Financial Reporting Controller

Nofar Energy Israel, the Israeli subsidiary of Nofar Energy Group is seeking a Financial Reporting Controller for a significant role involving end-to-end ownership of the company's financial reporting process.

This is an exciting opportunity to take an active part in the company's upcoming IPO - at one of Israel's foremost players in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Consolidation of financial statements across group entities
• Cross-functional collaboration within the company and with the group's finance department
• Managing the external audit process in coordination with the auditing firm
• Full-time position based at the company's offices in Kfar Saba

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting- required

• Active CPA license - required

• Internship/training at a Big 4 accounting firm - required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a financial reporting controller with hands-on experience in consolidation of financial statements at a public company - required

• Significant experience preparing annual and quarterly financial statements under IFRS - required

• Experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level - required

• IPO experience - candidates who have been through a public offering process and are familiar with prospectus preparation, working with the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), and meeting stock exchange disclosure requirements - significant advantage

• Strong knowledge of Israeli Securities Law and TASE reporting regulations - significant advantage

• Familiarity with MAGNA / ACHID reporting systems - advantage
