Job Description
ENGIE Romania is an integrated energy provider offering sustainable solutions through the supply of natural gas, renewable electricity, technical services, and energy efficiency, actively contributing to the energy transition.

As a Business Developer specializing in Grid Access, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our renewable energy projects and optimizing our energy network connections. Responsabilities
- Providing consultancy on energy networks and optimal access to them, in the context of identifying new renewable energy projects.
- Managing the documentation necessary to obtain access to electrical networks for new development projects, from project initiation to the completion of the execution phase (COD), and attending meetings with state authorities when necessary.
- Organizing meetings and documents necessary for the development of each project, under the guidance of the Grid Access Manager.
- Monitoring the impact of the evolving economic, political, regulatory, and technological context on investments and projects of TSO (Transmission System Operator)/DSO (Distribution System Operator).
- Collaborating with DSO, TSO, and stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle for connection/access to the network: from the authorization and access stage to the construction completion stage.
- Managing the relationship with internal or external consultants on topics such as solution analysis, planning and authorization of transformer stations, transformers, transfer stations, and aspects related to cable routes, technical evaluation, and preparation of the work register.
- Supporting the project team by analyzing risks and defining the necessary preventive/corrective actions for network access, in order to meet project deadlines.
- Obtaining approvals from DSO and TSO for network access, in accordance with the company's strategy.
- Providing technical and commercial analyses regarding offers and contracts related to network connection works.
- Monitoring the schedule and stages of the projects you manage.
- Supporting the procurement team during negotiations and tenders for network access services and works.
- Ensuring periodic reporting/presentations for monitoring and controlling activities related to access to electrical networks.
Desired education, expertise, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in technical field: Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering;
- Experience working with HV/MV power systems;
- Good knowledge of regulatory framework;
- Knowledge of project management methodology;
- Knowledge of financial analysis and evaluation;
- Thorough knowledge of technical standards and ANRE regulations;
- Basic knowledge of the energy market;
- Advanced skills in PVsyst, WASP, Windex/Atlas Wind Global, AutoCAD;
- Category B driving license;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
