What They Do
Advanced Green Technologies (AGT) specializes in solar energy systems, providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. The company has evolved from the roofing expertise of its sister company, Advanced Roofing Inc., which has been operational since 1983. AGT focuses exclusively on solar technology, delivering comprehensive EPC services for various solar energy systems, including rooftop, carport, ground-mount, and utility-scale installations. Their offerings encompass the entire project lifecycle, from planning and installation to operations, maintenance, repair, and monitoring, catering to commercial, industrial, residential, and utility clients (source: agt.com).
Projects & Track Record
Since its inception, AGT has completed over 450 MW of solar projects across Florida and the Caribbean, showcasing its capability in the commercial, industrial, and utility segments. Notable projects include the South Dade Regional Library solar array, which was completed on May 16, 2025. While specific project names beyond this are not detailed, AGT's extensive experience and capacity in solar installations are well recognized. The company has established key partnerships with its sister company, Advanced Roofing Inc., and various insurance providers, ensuring robust support for its EPC work (source: agt.com).
Recent Developments
In the past two years, AGT has not reported any major funding rounds, acquisitions, or mergers. However, the completion of the South Dade Regional Library solar array was a significant operational milestone celebrated with local leaders. The company has received numerous awards, including recognition as the top commercial solar contractor in Florida and a historical ranking as the #1 EPC by Solar Power World from 2012 to 2016. Despite the lack of new contracts or expansions in the last two years, AGT continues to uphold its reputation through its established certifications and licenses (source: agt.com).
Working There
AGT offers a variety of roles across construction, electrical, and management sectors within its Florida offices. The company is actively hiring for positions such as Solar Construction Manager, Electrician Assistant, and roles in installation, maintenance, and safety divisions. With seven operational locations in Florida, AGT promotes a collaborative culture that emphasizes craftsmanship, exceptional service, and community impact. Employees benefit from competitive financial packages and opportunities for career growth, although specific details regarding health plans or salaries are not publicly disclosed (source: agt.com).
