About the Role
We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst early in your career who wants to develop deep expertise in financial modelling, investment analysis, and portfolio management within the renewable energy sector.
In this role, you will work at the heart of OX2's investment decision-making, supporting how we evaluate new projects, manage our portfolio, and ensure financial discipline across the organization.
You will:
- Develop and maintain the corporate business plan and financial model, including scenario analysis and liquidity forecasting
- Evaluate new investments and assess their impact on cash flow, portfolio performance, and risk exposure
- Review and validate project-level financial models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability
- Prepare clear, structured materials to support investment decisions and senior stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of investment committee guidelines, ensuring consistency and analytical rigor
- Support standardization of financial modelling approaches, templates, and best practices across the organization
This is a highly analytical and visible role where your work will directly influence strategic decisions and long-term value creation.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in finance and a genuine interest in the energy sector.
We believe you have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics or engineering
- 0-1 year of relevant experience (including internships) in financial modelling, corporate finance, or transaction advisory (e.g., investment banking, infrastructure investing, or Big 4)
- Strong financial modelling skills and understanding of valuation and project finance principles
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with modelling best practices
- Fluency in English is a must

- A clear communicator who can present insights in a structured and compelling way
