Job Description

As a member of #TeamRWE you will be part of a multi-disciplinary O&M team ensuring a safe and reliable operation of the wind farm and will plan, prepare and carry out inspections and maintenance work with a particular focus on the foundation(s) and offshore substation(s) as well as standard maintenance activities across the wind farm infrastructure.

You will work offshore from an SOV in a 14/14 shift pattern; port location will be Eemshaven /NL.

About the role

  • Primary you will perform Inspections and maintenance on electrical and mechanical components like foundations and sub-stations as well in long term service & maintenance on wind turbines after the SMA period.
  • Documentation as well as creating follow-up orders and registration in SAP,(specific tools etc.)
  • Compliance with occupational safety regulations and HSE standards
  • Strong focus on Behavior Based Safety & Safety Culture
  • Participation in creation and review of operationally relevant documentation (e.g. maintenance manuals, RAMS etc.)
  • On demand support at the office base in Jemgum / Warehouse in Eemshaven

Job requirements and experience

  • Successfully completed training as an electrician / mechatronics engineer or mechanic (EFK)
  • Knowledge of relevant German regulations and directives (E.g. DIN VDE 0105-100, ArbSchG, DGUV, TRBS, BetrSichV)
  • Valid offshore training according to GWO standards
  • High safety awareness, willingness to strictly follow procedures and instructions and to actively contribute to a strong safety culture
  • Physical fitness and medical suitability for offshore work and working at heights (according to GWO / occupational health requirements)
  • Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset as well as a structured and reliable way of working
  • Good English and German skills both spoken and written
  • Working in 14/14 shifts at SOV, port of operations is Eemshaven NL
