Your mission
As a Transport Design Engineer in our Transport team at Tractebel, you contribute to the development of large-scale transport projects, delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions. Our team focuses on designing and optimizing infrastructure, ensuring reliability, sustainability, and technical excellence to support the transition to a cleaner and more resilient future.
Your key responsibilities
- You participate in projects related to transport infrastructure, together with other engineers and draftsmen.
- You will make sure that the projects assigned to you will be executed in accordance with project metrics (budget, schedule and quality system) as well as our H&S rules.
- You enhance an integrated design process by looking transversally over the different disciplines involved.
- You respond to the requirements and needs of the client.
- You aim for sustainable and efficient solutions.
- You keep up with the standards, guidelines and new techniques and developments in your discipline and report these to your team members or colleagues.
- You work together with colleagues, external and clients in a constructive way.
- You have an international mindset and collaborate with our offices abroad for certain engineering tasks and take the necessary actions to guarantee the required quality of the projects.
- You actively promote and establish BIM collaboration procedures according to our company vision where applicable.
We would love to hear from people with
- A Bachelor's degree as a minimum and knowledge of rail engineering is preferred.
- Relevant technical experience with roads and/ or rails engineering projects, in computing and designing.
- Expertise in ProVi.
- Knowledge in Autocad2D and Civil 3D, which represents an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player skills.
- Client-oriented and flexible attitude.
- A good knowledge of German and English, which represents an advantage.
- Willingness to make international trips for our international collaboration and international projects.
- An international driving license "B".
