Projects & Track Record
Arcosa Wind Towers has established a robust track record in the wind energy sector, with significant order intake and backlog growth. In 2023 and 2024, Arcosa reported multi-hundred-million dollar orders for wind towers, reflecting a strong demand for their products as part of a multi-year upcycle in the wind sector (source: investmentclub.nd.edu). While specific project names and capacities are often disclosed by clients, Arcosa's earnings reports indicate a solid backlog of wind tower orders that are crucial for fulfilling commitments to turbine OEMs (source: sec.gov).
Recent Developments
In 2024, Arcosa announced a significant acquisition agreement to purchase Stavola's construction materials business for $1.2 billion, which underscores its strategy for growth and diversification within the construction products sector while maintaining its core capabilities in engineered structures, including wind towers (source: ir.arcosa.com).
