Imagine a future where you advise companies on energy markets and handle the sale of energy contracts to new and existing B2B customers in Sweden.

In this role, your primary focus will be new sales to large customers in the Swedish business sector. You will have a unique opportunity to drive both new sales and the renegotiation of contracts for existing B2B customers, thereby expanding our customer portfolio. You will work with a portfolio of prospects as well as a smaller portfolio of existing customers across industries, primarily based in the Southern and Western part of Sweden.

You will become part of Sales & Marketing in Ørsted Business, where you together with your colleagues in Ørsted B2B will drive and develop collaboration with existing customers, while also reaching out to new potential customers within our Key Account segment. You will work in an exciting role alongside skilled and passionate colleagues, and you will be part of one of the world's most sustainable energy companies with a vision of creating a world that runs entirely on green energy. We are a team of dedicated colleagues who value an open, honest, and informal tone. We advise and support Danish and Swedish companies with energy procurement and together we create strong results.

In this role, you will

  • Approach new potential customers and build relationships with the aim of expanding the customer portfolio and increasing new energy sales
  • Take responsibility for a smaller portfolio of existing customers where you build strong customer relationships, maintain good cooperation, and renegotiate energy contracts for gas, biogas certificates and trading services.
  • Plan and execute sales activities targeted at new customers in collaboration with the Key Account team, marketing, and business development
  • Plan your own workday, visiting existing customers and prospecting new ones
  • Ensure strong customer interaction while delivering on commercial KPIs
  • Interact with external stakeholders such as energy brokers, and internal stakeholders in Ørsted, while actively contributing to knowledge sharing in team meetings and helping the team achieve common goals

To succeed in this role, we expect that you

  • Have experience in outreach and proactive sales to new customers, as well as maintaining and developing a smaller portfolio of existing customers.
  • Are independent, persistent, and proactive, and easily build positive relationships both internally and externally
  • Have a strong commercial and results-oriented mindset, a relevant educational background, and sales experience from the energy sector-ideally from a similar role in a larger company
  • Have experience in managing a customer portfolio and pipeline management in a CRM system (we use Salesforce)
  • Are ambitious, have a positive attitude and reflects enthusiasm, a high drive, and a structured approach to your work
  • Hold a driver's licence and communicate well in both written and spoken Swedish and English. (preferably also understanding of Danish)
  • Are resident close to Malmö as our Sales office is located within the Malmö region.
