Become a Compliance and Quality Reporting Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help build a better tomorrow. In this role, you'll support the development and maintenance of reporting data systems, leverage multiple data sources to perform ETL (extract, transform, and load) activities, and help mature the Quality Management System by delivering accurate, timely reporting outputs.

Responsibilities
- Performs quality control activities according to organizational standards and requirements.
- Provides technical and analytical support for data analysis and evaluation; plus performs ad-hoc data analysis to facilitate business decision-making analytics.
- Tracks quality performance metrics, prioritizes top issues, and drives continuous improvement activities with the cross-functional team; measuring and evaluating process improvement initiatives.
- Analyzes complex data, identifies trends, and notifies management of impeding changes.
- Utilizes new and existing analytical tools, methodologies, and technologies to solve business problems and provides solutions that enhance operations, capabilities, and competitiveness.
- Applies regulatory programs as needed to comply with major products, processes, or business areas.
- Conducts root cause investigations on improvement projects and assists in identifying potential corrective actions.
- Executes day-to-day activities based on quality objectives, corporate policies and goals.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in advanced data analytics, reporting and developing process improvement opportunities to ensure quality of processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing or supporting digital solutions such as dashboards, automations, workflows, or applications that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Proficient with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL, or similar platforms).
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience mapping process flows in Visio.
- Advanced coursework or certifications in analytics, process improvement, or digital transformation (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Power Platform, Agile).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend practical, scalable improvements.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional stakeholders, including business partners, IT teams, and leadership, to deliver solutions end to end.
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.??? Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.??? Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
