Our Distribution unit provides Distribution System Operators across Europe with software solutions to support, automate and optimize their grid planning, grid connection and grid operations. As we expand our presence in the Norwegian market, we are looking for a motivated working student to support our business development and go-to-market activities.
What you will be doing to make a difference
- Supporting go-to-market activities for Volue's distribution solutions in the Norwegian energy market, including market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new business opportunities
- Assisting in the preparation of sales materials, proposals, presentations, and product demos tailored to the needs of Norwegian distribution system operators and utilities
- Conducting research on market trends, regulatory developments, and customer needs in the Norwegian energy distribution landscape.
- Supporting the business development team in lead generation, CRM management, and pipeline tracking
- Helping coordinate events, trade fairs, and customer meetings to strengthen Volue's visibility in the Norwegian market
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and technical consulting to align go-to-market messaging with product capabilities
What you need to succeed
- Enrolled in a degree program (min. 3rd semester) with a business and/or analytical focus such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration or similar
- Strong interest in the energy sector, particularly in energy distribution, smart grids, practical experience in the energy industry/distribution sector is a plus
- Excellent research and analytical skills: you can synthesize market data, regulatory information, and competitive insights into clear, actionable summaries
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and AI tools (Claude or Co-Pilot)
- Self-motivation, proactivity, and a structured approach to managing multiple tasks
- Fluency in English is required
