Job Description

As a working student in Strategy & Architecture, you will support us in shaping RWE Renewables IT/OT landscape for the digital and renewable future. You will gain hands‑on experience in IT/OT architecture, process design, and application documentation while working closely with architects, product owners and IT/OT teams across the organization.

About the role

  • Create and update architecture diagrams and application relationships, and support the documentation of the IT/OT landscape, using modern enterprise tools such as LeanIX, ServiceNow and Confluence
  • Consult regularly with the responsible contacts from the specialist departments regarding the applications and technologies used in RWE Renewables
  • Model and maintain IT processes according to BPMN 2.0 in BIC Process Design, including documentation of relevant process responsibilities
  • Preparation of presentations, concepts and documentation for internal stakeholders

Job requirements and experience

  • Currently enrolled Bachelor student in Informatics, Business Informatics or a comparable field, ideally in your 1st-3rd semester
  • Solid skills in Microsoft 365 (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Strong interest in IT/OT architectures, system landscapes, process modelling and digital transformation
  • First experience with BPM tools, modelling (e.g., BPMN 2.0) or Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Confident use of AI tools and the ability to apply them effectively and responsibly
  • Experience with Python or GraphQL (advantage, but not required)
  • Structured, reliable and proactive working style
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
