Jij brengt marktdata en financiële inzichten samen om ENGIE's Supply & Energy Management te ondersteunen in het optimaliseren van onze energieportefeuille en het beheersen van risico's in een snel veranderende energiemarkt.

Ben jij iemand die energie krijgt van het analyseren van marktdata, producten, risico's en hedging‑strategieën - en deze weet te vertalen naar heldere financiële inzichten? Als Controller binnen het Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) team werk je op het snijvlak van de energiemarkt en finance. Je begint bij de inhoud van de markt: volumes, waarderingen, risico's en marktontwikkelingen, en vertaalt deze naar betrouwbare financiële resultaten en sturing.
Je beweegt vanzelfsprekend tussen financiële sturing, operationele energie‑ en portfoliocontrolling (internationaal bekend als "middle office") en samenwerking met internationale collega's.
Als controller ben jij iemand die:
- marktdata, energieproducten, risico's, hedging‑strategieën, marktwaardering en forecasts doorgrondt en deze vertaalt naar inzichten die direct bijdragen aan het sturen van onze energieportefeuille binnen S&EM.
- historische én prognosegegevens analyseert en deze omzet in begrijpelijke inzichten waar management en directie direct mee verder kunnen.
- vanuit jouw markt- en portfoliokennis de financiële impact bepaalt en deze helder uitlegt aan collega's uit verschillende disciplines.
- zich met plezier vastbijt in dagelijkse, wekelijkse en maandelijkse P&L‑resultaten en deze gestructureerd en helder weet toe te lichten conform IFRS en interne richtlijnen.
- deadlines tijdens maandafsluitingen bewaakt en ervoor zorgt dat zowel lokale als groepsrapportages tijdig én volledig worden opgeleverd.
- de datakwaliteit, interne controles en rapportageprocessen verbetert en waar mogelijk automatisering realiseert, zodat analyses sneller, consistenter en betrouwbaarder worden.
