As part of our continued growth in Denmark, we are looking for an Accountant who wants to play a key role in supporting complex renewable energy projects and contribute to a more sustainable future.

This is an opportunity to work at the center of the energy transition, supporting landmark infrastructure projects such as Thor - Denmark's largest offshore wind farm - expected to supply renewable energy to more than one million households by 2027.

As a part of a collaborative and international accounting team, you will take ownership of accounting activities across one or more entities. You will combine analytical thinking with hands-on delivery, ensuring accurate reporting and continuously improving accounting processes.

About the role

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Supporting annual reporting and statutory compliance processes.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate group reporting in line with corporate requirement.
  • Acting as a key contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Driving improvements in processes and supporting ongoing transformation projects.
  • Contributing to high-impact initiatives like the Thor offshore wind project.
  • Monthly VAT reporting.

Job requirements and experience

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by working in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. You enjoy taking ownership, collaborating across teams, and improving ways of working.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Have an academic or post-graduate degree in finance
  • Have 3-5 years' experience working with accounting and advanced accounting issues (preferably with companies in an international environment).
  • Has experience with accounting processes (ideally in an international setting)
  • Is motivated to understand and improve underlying financial processes
  • Is comfortable working with SAP and Excel
  • Thrives in a dynamic, growing environment
