Ramboll offers end-to-end support from planning and feasibility studies to design, procurement, risk management, civil engineering, commissioning, and maintenance, which includes digital tools for projects like the electrification of a 350 km railway with 20,000 steel masts in the late 1990s (source: ramboll.com). Target markets include utilities, governments, waste management companies, private developers, funding sources, and local authorities, with a focus on sustainable cities and green infrastructure (source: dbdh.org). Ramboll differentiates itself through its foundation ownership, enabling long-term reinvestment and over 50 years of experience in energy systems, positioning them as one of Europe’s largest consulting firms.

They have also been responsible for Copenhagen's city-wide district heating system, serving over 1 million people, as well as Denmark's first radio mast from 1950. Ramboll has designed and constructed 130 waste-to-energy units and retrofits in 40 countries, demonstrating their global reach and expertise (source: wikipedia.org). In 2022, Ramboll launched the strategy "The Partner for Sustainable Change," which aims to integrate sustainability into all projects and operations by 2025. This strategy seeks to position Ramboll as a leader in the green energy transition while achieving record revenues and operating profit (EBITA) (source: ramboll.com). 2022 also marked the 50th anniversary of the foundation's ownership and the 75th anniversary of the company's founding (source: ramboll.com).
