As a Student Assistant in the HSEQ department, you will learn from experienced professionals who will guide and support your professional and personal growth. Not only will you play a vital role in supporting your colleagues in tasks related to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality, but you will also make a meaningful impact in meeting the world's growing energy demand safely and sustainably.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront - views do not get any better than this. As a student assistant, you will have hands-on experience with the tasks that are in demand for the future within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. This opportunity will allow you to develop a deep understanding of the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, as well as ensuring the highest standards of quality, says Dorthe Uls??, HSEQ Director.

Your tasks & responsibilities

Your role will include a wide range of tasks related to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. Most importantly, you will act as a vital support to the department and contribute to ensuring the high quality we deliver. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to larger investigations within occupational health and safety.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Participating in the development and implementation of campaigns
  • Handling document management within the internal quality system, including preparing and organizing documents for colleagues across the company.
  • Assisting with supplier approvals
  • Ad-hoc quality tasks of an administrative nature

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for an energetic, quality-conscious, and detail-oriented colleague who is passionate about HSEQ and eager to develop their skills and knowledge within this area. You are structured, persistent, and service-oriented, with strong analytical abilities and proficiency with numbers.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you:

  • Are pursuing a relevant higher education degree (bachelor's or master's level), such as Public Health or Risk & Safety Management
  • Are fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Can work 10-15 hours a week during regular business hours
  • Experience with Visual Basics and SQL databases is not a requirement but would be an advantage
  • Have great IT-skills and experience working with MS Office
