About the role

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for defining and driving the technical solution in Eolus' large-scale projects related to wind turbines, solar panels, and storage technologies such as battery energy storage systems (BESS). In close collaboration with colleagues across the organization, you will help ensure that our energy park projects are technically robust, commercially sound, and positioned for successful construction. The role is international and spans across all Eolus European countries which are Sweden, Finland, Latvia and Poland as of today. You will play a key role in shaping technical decisions with direct impact on project value and investment outcomes.

In this role, you will

  • Act as technical advisor to the organization and projects, to ensure a holistic view of the technical solution and strategy to maximize project value.
  • Lead, defend and negotiate the technical scope together with a team of specialists during procurement and transactions to optimize project value within permit restrictions, grid requirements and contracting.
  • Provide guidance on key technical topics, such as production calculations, mitigation of technical risks and review technical specifications.
  • Evaluate new technical solutions with strategic relevance for Eolus and lead working groups to shape the strategic direction across multiple markets.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in technical roles within the renewable energy industry and a strong ability to connect technical solutions with project economics. To ensure highest quality of our projects you demonstrate high analytical capability and can effectively understand, process, and present complex technical information and data. The role contains communication with various stakeholders and it is therefore important that you are comfortable working both with detailed technical topics and in strategic discussions.

To succeed in this role, you have

  • 8+ years in technical roles within large infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within renewable energy (wind preferred)
  • Strong analytical and technical evaluation capabilities
  • High proficiency in English.
  • A technical university degree in engineering or equivalent.
